This book was so good for the heart. Not only did it keep me on my toes until then end, but it warmed my heart in the deepest of ways. The love stories intertwined with the history makes the book so exciting and interesting to read. Leah does a great job at keeping our attention with her descriptive details. I love this book!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was captivating from start to finish. There was so much character development, suspense and drama… that it was a pleasant read. I binge read the book like it was a Netflix show. The author is an amazing storyteller. Highly recommend.
For those who are looking for a grittier historical read that does not shy away from the dark corners of human brokenness, I can definitely recommend Unborn Melody. This book had so many beautiful lessons about the true meaning of love, in other words, willing the good of another.
The action is non-stop in this book. After her previous book, “Wisps of Gold”, Lindeman maintains momentum by continuing her story of Rose, a strong-willed and passionate woman eager for adventure. A slice of fictionalized Canadian folklore, the reader follows Rose’s steps as she unravels the plot behind missing miners, women and mysterious bones.
